Makes me glad as a canadian (not much sun for large parts of the year) that I've been supplementing with thousands of UI/day for around 20 years, even when recommendations were like 400ui.

Thanks for talking about how easy it is to test for viatmin D levels. I think most people in the Western world are deficient in this crucial nutrient, especially in the winter and being vitamin D deficient can lead to real problems with cardiovascular and brain health. Vitamin D supplementation is an easy and cheap fix that works well for so many people.
