If gluconeogenesis turns excess protein into glucose and, say, 30 grams is the threshold you can eat before gluconeogenesis begins, how long do you have to wait after eating 30 grams of protein without having to worry about your body turning protein into carbs? If you're on a 16/8 intermittent fast and worried about getting enough protein, wondering how to best space protein consumption to maximize intake.
