3 Ways to Hack Your Performance, the Natural Way.
How to repair DNA cell damage, recover faster and perform at your peak!
Neuro Athletes,
Okay here’s what’s going to happen…
You’re going to see all of these tools and immediately want to read about all of them, figure out which are best for you, and spend more time than you want clicking and scrolling and downloading today.
“As to methods; there may be a million and then some, but principles are few. The man who grasps principles can successfully select his own methods. The man who tries methods, ignoring principles, is sure to have trouble.”
— RALPH WALDO EMERSON
The point is to focus on what’s important, and NOT the method/tool used to get the result you want.
I don’t think there is a one stop shop for all performance needs, nor do I think there’s a single dose dependent pill that will improve mental performance. The word “hack” used to refer specifically to unauthorised access to data in a system or computer. However, it’s been appropriated as a verb to describe a range of quick fixes and clever solutions to problems.
There are countless ways to hack your environment to improve focus, productivity and creativity. For me, I try not to waste my limited cognitive control resources on self-control, if I don’t have to. However, having a demanding career I try to find ways to hack my environment to get the most out of my performance.
I recently spoke with Dr. Ralph Esposito about performance, in particular, high-performance. We cover many themes such as nutritional science, hydration and the athletes microbiome. In today’s members only email, Ralph and I did an exclusive talk on the three biggest performance hacks you can include in your day to improve your performance, the natural way.
What we cover:
1. How can an athlete/ high performing person get more energy throughout their day
2. Best tools to help with recovery and fatigue
3. If someone is struggling with focus, attention and mental fatigue what advice can you give them to help push the needle forward in a natural way.

A remarkable new study found that in flies, zebrafish, mice, and humans, DNA damage levels increase during wakefulness and decrease during sleep.

Neuroscience book recommendations
A common question I get is that of book recommendations, specifically, books on neuroscience and performance. Below I have listed my favourite books that have helped me through my journey of creating Neuro Athletics.
